Through VMware Consulting Services from Performance Tuning Corporation, our engineers can help you achieve those goal through the implementation of various VMware desktop and server applications.
Companies continue to further leverage VMware in order to take advantage of the efficiency, security and performance benefits delivered by full stack virtualization. Performance Tuning Corporation concentrates on implementing new optimization solutions from VMware to help our customers get even more from their virtual infrastructures.
Our Primary offerings with our VMware Consulting Services are:
- VMware vRealize Automation
- Horizon View End User Desktop Infrastructure
- Software Defined Data Center:
PTC also brings years of experience in the performance tuning of critical business applications to assess and tune existing virtual infrastructures.
VCAC: VMWARE VREALIZE AUTOMATION 7
VMware vRealize Automation 7 is VMware’s unified cloud management software product that is capable of managing multiple hypervisors, physical infrastructure and public cloud services.
This allows for more efficient and more secure deployment of virtual and physical systems.
A primary challenge with on-demand, self-service provisioning is the integration of business processes to enforce governance, internal policies, and audit compliance. Using VMware vRealize Automation 7 API and extensibility toolkits such as Orchestrator and Power CLI, you can implement custom functionality.
Managing and monitoring costs in a virtualized and cloud-based infrastructure can be difficult. VMware® vRealize Suite™ is integrated with VMware vRealize Automation 7 to enable users to manage and monitor costs quickly and easily.
VMware vRealize Automation 7’s extensibility features will allow our customers to utilize any prepackaged, new, or existing vCenter Orchestrator workflow such as View Desktops and deliver it as a Self-Serviced, Entitled, Governed, and Lifecycle-managed service. This gets the customer to managed desktops on demand.
VMWARE HORIZON VIEW END USER COMPUTING:
VMware Horizon™ 6 (with View) delivers virtualized and remote desktops and applications through a single platform and supports end users with access to all of their Windows and online resources through one unified workspace.
Horizon 6. This is more than simply an extension of the Horizon View stack. With the release of Horizon 6, we start to see the integration between the somewhat disjointed elements of the previous Horizon Suite. We see a raft of changes:
- Application presentation from different sources (ThinApp, web applications and Citrix XenApp).
- An improved Horizon View, with enhanced performance and extra features.
- A centralized Workspace interface for ease of use for the end user.
- Local SSD storage
VIRTUAL INFRASTRUCTURE – THE SOFTWARE DEFINED DATACENTER:
Many organizations have already virtualized or possess the means to virtualize their physical datacenter. When moving to private, public or hybrid Cloud Services you will want to implement a “Software Defined Datacenter”. The “Software Defined Datacenter” is an IT facility where the elements of the infrastructure – networking, storage, compute (CPU and Memory) and security – are virtualized and delivered as a service. The provisioning and operation of the entire infrastructure is entirely automated by software.
Potentially, an SDDC implementation could allow servers and other hardware to be shut down or run at lower power levels, which has implications for energy use. Some experts see SDDC as a more secure option to cloud. “SDDCs provide organizations with their own private cloud, allowing them to have far more control over hosted data,” says Tim Chambers, chief technology officer and co-founder of Data City Exchange.
“Performance Tuning was able to quickly troubleshoot and resolve many technical issues that often eluded other consulting companies we’ve worked with. I was most impressed by their quick response in emergency situations. They’ ve been instrumental in the delivery of Oracle technologies such as Oracle RAC, Grid Control and Data Guard.”
“Performance Tuning was able to offer unique insights to database design and performance tuning optimization on a world class level. They did a superb job of load testing, which was cited by Microsoft (a team member) as, the best we’ve seen in three years and 50 customers to come through our SQL Server Performance Tuning Lab. This statement came from the SQL Server Product Group in Redmond – a tough crowd to please. In addition, they accelerated several products including our flagship Thomson ONE Analytics and were a key part of a project whose success has lead to case studies by Intel, Microsoft, and Unisys.”
“The Instructor was able to customize the course slightly to meet the needs and levels of experience in the class. It was great to get some real hands on to cement in what was reviewed and explained.”
“We recently had a problem with SQL Server performance after introducing virtualization and a SAN in our server environment. After working with two different consulting companies without success, we contacted Performance Tuning Corporation. PTC rapidly set up a remote engagement with us, and within one week was able to identify a problem with a virtual device driver. We are very satisfied with the work PFC performed, and feel it is some of the best consulting money that we have spent in several years.”
PTC has been phenomenal. It’s a scary time when your most critical data is being moved while users are in the system working. Especially on the heals of our previous vendor’s failed attempt. I can only describe it as a calming effect when true professionals are running the show.
“We are very pleased with the work that PTC performed. They were able to extract information from SQL Server and use that information to identify the exact causes of our performance bottlenecks. They provided us with information, tools, and instructions on how we can locate the cause of our performance problems. The final report contained good information and gives us a benchmark for doing future performance reviews.”
“This is a well balanced course (Optimizing Oracle RAC on Linux) covering all major topics from System Administration to Database Administration unlike most of the courses”
